On Min-Max, I thought some of the later stuff was some of the best. There's a reason that Bowie and Brian Eno moved to Berlin when they heard what was going on with experimental electronic music. And then I went and wanted to brush up on the history of the scene and watched Modulations: Cinema for the Ear and Kraftwerk and the Electronic Revolution. Pretty much re-ripped all Kraftwerk (AKA The Organisation), Neu, Tangerine Dream, & Klaus Schulze. It put me over the top for a few days and I listened to all of the Krautrock I could get my hands on. Just started it up to remind myself how well it sounds and it makes me "tingly". Sounds crazy good in 24-bit as long as you are okay with some ambient cheering etc. There are 20 tracks in 24/48 for $20.Ī: Kraftwerk: Minimum-Maximum: Ralf Hütter, Florian Schneider-Esleben, Fritz Hilpert, Henning Schmitz, Andreas Fragel, Rainer Zicke, Thomas Schultze, Kraftwerk, Peter Engelen: Movies & TV Don't think I needed MakeMkV to break any encryption on the DVDs. I ripped the 2-DVD set with DVD Audio Extractor. Just saw this update in my email subscription.
